Swiss Trombone Days
- By Justin
At the end of October I was pleased to be a part of the first “Swiss Trombone Days” in Zurich, Switzerland. As a co-organizer and performer I couldn’t be happier with the turn out. We had guests artists Jaques Mauger, Mike Svoboda, Ian Bousfield perform with their classes and give lectures. I conducted the trombone choir from HEM Geneva and performed Eric Ewazen’s Concertino. Also present were the SloBone Quartet, Prof. Anne-Jelle Visser, and Steve Shires. Some world class names for the first edition! Stay tuned for what next year brings…
